Dr. Tony Tsai has dedicated his career to helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of infertility with expertise, precision, and compassion. As the founder and medical director of The New York Fertility Center, he brings Ivy League education, fellowship training at one of the nation’s premier reproductive medicine programs, and decades of hands-on clinical experience to patients throughout Manhattan, Queens, and the greater New York metropolitan area.

Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty focus in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, Dr. Tsai also serves as Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and is affiliated with Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

Education and Training

Dr. Tsai’s medical training reflects a commitment to excellence at every stage. He completed his undergraduate education at Columbia University before earning his Doctor of Medicine from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. His residency in obstetrics and gynecology took place at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he developed a strong foundation in surgical technique and patient care.

He then pursued subspecialty training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility through a prestigious fellowship at the University of California San Francisco in collaboration with Stanford Medical Center — a program that shaped his approach to complex fertility cases and advanced reproductive surgery.

Beyond fertility treatment, Dr. Tsai is recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery with a focus on fertility preservation. He performs more than 100 laparoscopic myomectomies annually and has pioneered techniques that allow patients to preserve reproductive potential while addressing conditions that might otherwise compromise fertility.

His surgical expertise includes laparoscopic and hysteroscopic treatment of endometriosis, uterine fibroids, uterine septum, and Asherman syndrome. Dr. Tsai was the first surgeon in Queens to popularize laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy — a technique that preserves the cervix when medically appropriate — and developed a staged laparoscopic and hysteroscopic approach for complex cases involving large fibroids or extensive adhesions.

His leadership roles include serving as former Chairman of ACOG District II Section 3, as well as past President, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Queens OB/GYN Society. Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist

Yanna Dostova, FNP-C, is a highly recognized Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, with advanced expertise in fertility care and minimally invasive gynecologic procedures. She is dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based treatment that supports patients through every stage of their reproductive journey. Yanna has demonstrated exceptional procedural proficiency, having independently performed over 600 hysteroscopic procedures – including polypectomy, myomectomy, adhesiolysis, septum resection, and ovarian cyst aspirations – as well as more than 400 egg retrievals, embryo transfers, intrauterine inseminations (IUI), and intralipid infusions. She develops individualized treatment plans encompassing IVF, IUI, ovulation induction, and natural cycles for heterosexual and same-sex couples, single parents, and egg donors. Her comprehensive scope of practice includes transvaginal ultrasonography, saline infusion sonography (SIS), early obstetric care, and semen analysis, along with the management of complex reproductive conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, OHSS, Asherman’s syndrome, lupus, and genetic abnormalities, as well as fertility preservation services for oncology patients.

A leader in clinical innovation, Yanna established the NAD+ infusion program at The New York Fertility Center, designed to enhance oocyte quality and improve blastocyst formation rates in patients of advanced maternal age. Her clinical focus includes:
