Yanna A. Dostova, NP
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner
Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist
Yanna Dostova, FNP-C, is a highly recognized Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, with advanced expertise in fertility care and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based treatment that supports patients through every stage of their reproductive journey. As a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) Nurse Practitioner, Yanna delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and couples navigating infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, fertility preservation, and complex reproductive disorders. She conducts thorough diagnostic evaluations of both male and female reproductive health through advanced laboratory testing, imaging, and procedural assessments to identify factors affecting fertility and develop individualized treatment strategies. Working with heterosexual couples, same-sex couples, single parents by choice, and known gamete donors, she designs personalized treatment plans including ovulation induction (OI), intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and natural cycle protocols tailored to each patient’s medical history and reproductive goals.
Fertility Care Without Limits
Yanna additionally performs oocyte retrievals, embryo transfers and intrauterine inseminations (IUI). She provides comprehensive management of patients with a broad spectrum of reproductive and endocrine conditions, including polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS/PMOS), endometriosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, Asherman syndrome, autoimmune disorders such as lupus and ANA positive conditions, hereditary genetic conditions affecting fertility and more. She performs specialized treatments such as vaginal dilation therapy for patients with vaginismus and individuals with differences of sex development, including women with an XY genotype, while also coordinating fertility preservation for oncology patients before gonadotoxic treatments.
She plays an integral role in male fertility evaluation by performing in-house semen analyses to assess reproductive potential and implementing evidence-based pharmacologic and lifestyle interventions to optimize semen parameters when appropriate. Throughout every stage of treatment, she closely monitors patient progress, interprets laboratory results, adjusts medication regimens, educates patients on injection administration and IVF protocols, and provides compassionate guidance through early pregnancy, ensuring continuity of care from initial consultation through conception.
Demonstrating a commitment to innovation and evidence-based practice, she founded The New York Fertility Center’s NAD+ and glutathione infusion program, introducing a novel adjunctive therapy aimed at improving oocyte mitochondrial function, enhancing oocyte quality, and increasing blastocyst formation rates in women of advanced reproductive age.
